Development associate

Executive Director seek a Development Professional to oversee the following: annual fund philanthropy, donor and prospect relations, marketing and fundraising event logistics, manage donor database and administrative support of internal leadership. Motive individuals who demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills sufficient to work both independently or collaboratively are encouraged to apply. Requires a Bachelors Degree, 1+ years of experience in fundraising/fund development or marketing or PR in the not-for-profit sector; combination of education and experience considered, documented experience interfacing with multiple constituencies and strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.This position is full-time, salaried position that occassionally includes off business hours (occasional evenings/weekends) as events dictate. Weekend Resident Assistant 

There are no immediate openings for this position but interested applicants are encouraged to submit their resumes to remain on file should an opening present itself.

This is a weekend position. You must be available approximately every other Saturday and Sunday for 8 hr shifts. Responsibilities include: making sure residents complete chores before leaving the house; advising residents with cooking, cleaning, and childcare; and light housework. Applicants should be comfortable being the person in charge during their shift. Must be responsible, dependable, and willing to work with women and children from all backgrounds. Must also be able uphold the mission and values of Joseph’s House.
